an interview

  • What does a yearbook staff member do?

We have several jobs and responsibilities, not only do we take pictures of all the sports, every club and activity, every event, and more, we are also responsible for designing pages, selling ads, and meeting our deadlines.

What is your favorite part of yearbook?

Taking pictures is the best because some people get really into it and its hilarious to watch and then look back on while I'm going through pictures. I also love the people in the class and the friendships we form because we spend so much time with each other and we are constantly talking about what we should do and things of that sorts that we've become like a little family.

How would you describe the class?

Challenging. This class is very challenging because there's so much that goes into it and people have such high expectations. People actually buy what we're putting together and so its expected to be good, and we're constantly trying to come up with new ideas which is harder than you would think.

  • How much effort do you put into your tasks?

I give my all in everything I do. From pictures to my pages to some new surprises that will be included this year, I do my best to make everything perfect and that takes maximum effort.

Would you recommend this class to other students?

Yes but I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone. If you have a passion for this stuff or you are willing to give it your all then yes!! This class is perfect!! But if you're looking for a class to slack off in this isn't for you.

What is the hardest part of being a staff member?

Personally the hardest part of this is keeping secrets. I'll be so proud of something that I just want to show everyone or I'll know something amazing and I want to tell someone, but a big part of this is keeping everything a secret. I haven't revealed anything yet, lets hope it stays that way!
