Effect of Different Packaging Materials on Force of Impact
The purpose of our experimentation was to determine if different packaging materials such as nothing, newspaper, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam make a difference upon the impact of an object inside a dropped box. We have found that it is near impossible to tell which material protected the object the best because most of our data was not grouped together at a common point and had a large range of variance. We also had no published results to compare our results with, so we did not know if they were correct or incorrect.
